Privacy Policy

Cubbi is an iOS app published by Amino Industries. We've built it to be private by design.

What we collect

Cubbi has no user accounts and no login. We do not sell personal data or use advertising trackers.

Everything you enter — your preferred name, supplements, routines, quantity details, and notes — stays on your device unless you choose to use a cloud-assisted label scan.

Camera access

The app asks for camera access only to:

Photos you capture are used to prefill item details. If cloud extraction is enabled, the label image is uploaded as described below.

Network usage

When label scanning uses cloud extraction, Cubbi sends the label image to our Cloudflare Worker, which forwards it to Gemini to extract fields like name, brand, category, serving size, package size, and unit. The API key stays on the Worker. We do not intentionally store label images on our servers, and we do not use label images for advertising.

Analytics, tracking, advertising

None. We do not use third-party analytics, telemetry, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, marketing pixels, or other tracking technology.

Children's privacy

The app is intended for general audiences (rated 4+ on the App Store) and does not knowingly collect account information from children under 13.

Data deletion

To remove everything you've stored in the app, simply uninstall Cubbi from your iPhone.

iCloud sync

Cubbi does not currently use iCloud. A future version may offer optional iCloud sync so your data syncs across your own Apple devices. If we enable that, sync would use your own private iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure — we still would not receive your data. We will update this policy before iCloud sync is enabled.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this policy and note the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in app updates.
